Italy won the 5th Gelato World Cup

Italy won, followed by France and Switzerland. To the event, organized by Rimini Fiera in cooperation with Associazione Gelato&Cultura e Co.Gel-Fipe, the nations in competition were 13: Argentina, Australia, Brasil, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Morocco, Mexico, Spain, Svitzerland, Usa. Champions of the world are the gelato-maker Leonardo Ceschin; the chocolatier Ernst Knam; the ice-sculptor Francesco Falasconi; the chef Filippo Novelli. Team manager Pierpaolo Magni who, together with Diego Crosara, has trained the team.
